Cool

Hi, Get mine next week from the Garage Troch in Belgium, Hans the owner speakes very good English. The total cost including Tax vat delivery etc worked out at about £16,400. I used Keyring Cars, they have a good web site. I have found there service to be excellent and yesterday they sent me all the completed registration documents etc. Well worth their small fee.
Bob.
Just an afterthought if you want more details or cost breakdown email me I`d be pleased to help.

I also got mine from Garage Troch!!!

Except I got mine for less than you because I went direct to him. They have a website, but I will try to find his direct number. The arranging of registration etc was easy enough. In fact the whole thing was quite easy and they even fitted the UK spec alarm in Belgium.

But anyway, I would highly recommend him. The journey there is really easy also.

Question

Active - how did you manage that? The site advert is "Brand new unregistered Impreza WRX 2002 4-door - only £17,950! " or did you get a used 2001 model? Plus extras like alarm, is that included in £16,400?

I would, without any hesitation, wholeheartedly recommend Autobedrijf Gertjan van der Velde (gj_velde@wish.net or +31 186 661556 - I can still remember the number after two years!!!).

I got my MY00 from Gertjan in November 99 and had excellent service and a superb price. Everything went mega smoothly thanks to him understanding what he needed to get (CoC, temporary registration, steering wheel on the right hand side of the car ...)

I couldn't recommend him enough. It may be worth speaking to Iain Litchfield as he has some storming deals too.

Nick.

Try www.burbankholdings.com they will probably get you a better price than you can get yourself anyway and do all the work for you.

Another up for Keyring - managed to hit the Feb deadline - only just though.

Priced up for direct importing from Hans and worked out about same incl. getting there & back so have used Keyring to take out some of the paperwork in case I dropped a round hairy thing whilst cutting the dates fine. Managed to get a decent forward contract rate so saved a bit more

Roll on June

Wink

http://www.subarutroch.com/

Word of advice is don't take Han's first quote, always push for a discount or extras eg Morrettes, coded side skirts etc....

Fax or phone are best way to get a reply.

I got mine from Keyring cars last week after waiting for about 4/5 months.

I would recommend their services to anyone. Cost was around £16k in the end.

Bloke at the DVLA when I registered it said that he had never seen such a well filled out set of documentation

Thanks to all who have replied to my original enquiry.

I'm currently trying to contact three of the Garages mentioned above.
