How much to use a select monitor on my car

My car is a My98 UK turbo, I was just wondering if I could take it to a main dealer and get them to use a select monitor on it just to make sure everything was running okley dokely??

Went to discuss a problem on my MY98. Bring it into the workshop and we will put it onto the select monitor was the reply. Came up clean / reset the ECU and wasnt charged anything. Problem has re-occured so taking it back to same place and will use them for servicing as they were helpful.

Was (and still am) getting bad MPG from my MY95 1.6GL, they ran the select monitor and did an emmissions check, and I was charged for an hour's labour.
But, my car isnt under warranty and isnt regularly serviced by a main dealer, so I would have been very suprised not to have been charged. That might have secured my custom in the future though...
