various traders can supply these, be careful that you get the turbo as a 'kit' as it appears that some peeps charge extra for this even though its supplied from new......................

for us it won on 3 points

1, overlaying our dyno print outs against the 321t the SC46 produced exactly the same power and torque at less boost.

2 it comes with all fittings and gaskets and is cheaper.

3, It says SCOOBYCLINIC on it!

Beware of equivelants, they don't always do what they say on the tin dependant on what sort of opener you use

Hi,
we were involved with the testing of the MD series of turbos so are well aware just how good they are, in fact I run one on my own car, we are just attempting to offer an alternative direct bolt on turbo.

Graphs as requested earlier, these are hot off the press, just finished mapping on shell V power, not race gas, this is an example of the SC50 which we intended to be a direct fit turbo capable of 500 bhp.

More graphs to follow.

Cheers,
Kev

Our SC46SH mirrors the md321h to perfection running back to back tests on the dyno it was hard to see the different traces on the graph as they were overlaying each other.
introductory offer including fittings & gaskets £1175+VAT

Cheers

Hi,
the SC50 hits full boost at 3700 rpm on the dyno, will be earlier on the road, not done the road test yet, just putting my incontinance pants on as I have to pilot while Andy moniters the laptop, unless your not to busy

There was more to come but as the shootout is Sunday we didnt want to push to hard, I think if we had we would be sweeping up his straight cut gearbox off the dyno

Cheers

Id be very interested in seeing the SC42, SC46 and SC50 dyno prints over the top of one another. Have a summer build underway with a target of as close to 500/500 as possible on a 2.5l but with as little lag as possible also.
thanks
will

I think we set a new record last night for an MD321T on a 2 litre

503.9bhp and 486lbft torque - I'm a very happy bunny

Not on standard road fuel though

I'll post up a graph later, but the fuel pump was limiting further progress - which says a lot for the turbo

Ran on the rollers in 3rd, peaked at 2.1 bar
