I've bought a few things from Scott. Never a problem.

He's usually been pretty quick to reply to emails, but I suppose you've already tried that.

I still cant believe why people buy products from retail outlets who dont have a Valid business address or a daytime contact number.

There is so many Scooby Specialists out there which give better service and peace of mind!

I've bought from Scott at Flat4 in the past and never had a problem. He's usually very prompt with sending things out.

IIRC he runs the whole business on his own, so that can at busy times cause delays.

I'm confused by what you class as better service, Ashyv. Even with larger companies you can get delays.

The key words here are in the original post.
3 weeks is still excessive even if you are a busy company. Also bear in mind that the items were returned several months ago with what looks like no communication in between.

You may all have had good service in that you paid for an item online and then recived goods a day or so later. That does not warrant good service, that warrants efficient delivery.

Good service is deemed when things go wrong and the vendor ensures that the matter is resoved expediently. That provides confidence in ensuring you have repeat business.

It's like buying car insurance. You don't know how good it is until you make a claim..

In this case, the purchaser has concerns and has only E-mail as a means of communication. He has no other means to try and rectify the issue and obtain a refund and that has been deliberately put in place, otherwise alternative contact details for occasions such as this would be available to any potential purchaser. I n m y o p i n i o n.

Also bear in mind this quote on the flat4online website....

Email Contact Address
Enquiries are answered on average within 6 hours. If for any reason you do not receive a response within 24hrs you are welcome to re-submit your enquiry.

Lol.

Yes, people have bought things at good prices and yes, they sometimes recieve them, but there are more threads about Flat4online and delivery/returns/responding, than any other company. Also IMHO.
