You do know that the chances are they wont conform with the standard set out of a UK plate so will be theoretically illegal to put on your car?

I don't mean to be offensive, but: "show plates" as was stated. My car's an import so the plate size is the same, thought they'd look good in the coming year.

I think they only have to be on the car to be illegal, sorry to put a spoiler on it

Taken from DVLA website....

17. A customer wants a number plate to display on a 'show' vehicle. It will only be used off-road and never on a public highway. What documentation is required?
Any number plate designed to be fixed on a vehicle or trailer must comply with the regulations, irrespective of whether it is used on the road or not. Proof of entitlement for the vehicle and proof of personal ID will be required.
