Well Lane Turbo Centre
Had my Scoob in there the other day to see why it was failing under load. The conclusion was coil pack fault. Got the coil packs, had them replaced, it still fails under load (it turns out the boost solenoid is the problem - thanks to a different garage).
I was charged £115 just to get told the wrong information. Nice one, Well Lane.
I ignored many of the horror stories about that place, now i wish i hadn't

ART Turbos in Wakefield have it at the moment. I was told about them by a friend of mine (he's heavily into his Cosworths - he swears by ART) a while back when i had some trouble with my Blitz BOV and the guy at ART helped me out free of charge (i was told that the BOV was completely screwed yet ART had it working perfectly in hours).
I should have gone back there for my car checking out but instead i was advised to go to Well Lane. Now i'm over £100 down, the car is in the same state, but fortunately it's about to get sorted (fingers crossed).
They aren't on Yell so here's their number if you need (01924) 290431 'ART'. From my experience they know much more than Well Lane and they don't take the p**s when costing for work.

Got the solenoid sorted mate, so it isn't needed. It needed the ECU rewiring too in the end but he got it all sorted (charged less for 3 days work than Well Lane cost just to check it out).
No probs about putting me onto Well Lane, Jase. I appreciate the efforts to get my car running A1. It's not your fault they mis-diagnosed the problem.
I'll pop the coil packs in the post if you could PM me your details - thanks again for the extra support after the rebuild (i'll be in touch for some 4 pots when i have the rebuild paid off)
