Finally I waxed my car.

Finally I waxed my car.
Just a quick vote of appreciation as I never normally appreciate a decent company and wanted to post credit where it is due.
Thanks to Alex Creasey at serious performance (seriousperformance.co.uk) for supplying me with some amazing products for cleaning my car.
I got some kind of all in one kit and set about washing and waxing my car.
I have never waxed a car before and always relied on third parties to clean it for me, but I decided to take advantage of the long weekend.
To say I am pleased is an understatement.
I used meguiars car shampoo, with a funky wash mit, followed by a synthetic chamois which did what it said on the tin, and then carnuba moose wax which was so unbelievably easy to use, I never thought I would get a car to gleam like that.
I have been sticking my head in the garage ever since to have a look at my handywork.
Really chuffed. Would recommend this stuff to anyone who thought they culdn't achieve showroom shine, thanks!

Whole process took me about 2 hours, but I was being very meticulous.
It was lovely weather in the morning and I enjoyed every minute of it, particularly as the paint wasn't visible before I cleaned it.
Hanley,
pop alex an email and ask him what it was he supplied me. I knew alex before he did this business so I just rang him and trusted him to supply me what I needed.
The wheel cleaning stuff was great too, but sadly one of my wheels has been contaminated with metal filings from a wearing rear disc brake before I managed to get the pads changed.
Need to take that wheel off to properly clean it!

I always wanted a car you can lean on and slide off, now I have it and managed to produce that myself.
Am not great at cleaning cars but this came out far better than I ever expected.

I also adjusted the wing andle to the inclined setting which makes the car look a touch more evil!

only have one pic so far as the heavens opened up just after I waxed it.
It was in the garage well before then but it hasn't come out since to get a good photo.
this was post wash pre dry.
If you saw the dirt on it before you would appreciate just how well the shampoo did!
