Default London servicing...

Who do you guys recommend in london (preferably SW) to service Scoobs? Got a 90k service coming up soon!

How good are Hunt & Keal (kensington)?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place?

90k is ££ . Better go to a specialist.

Couple of options

AnG at Park Royal ( not used, but have had heard good reports ) or
Len @ Subaru4you ( Down the M4 , but I used for 3yr + cambelt and was v.happy with service and cost)
XtremeScoobies in Essex

There may be a couple of others that will be suggested but I can't think of.

They'll see you alright.

Recommend AnG. They're a no-frills operation, and that's reflected in the price. IMO you're getting main dealer workmanship at a fraction of the price

Hunt & Keal are excellent. Ask for John (the service manager) and say you were recommended by someone on Scoobynet. He gave me a 10% discount so I'm guessing he'll do the same for you.

Power Engineering in Uxbridge are good too - we had the big cambelt service there and the service was excellent.

Probably £700 ish for a 90 & to get to the rear main seal, it would be gearbox out probably £190 ish

Though the price will drop if you don't have aircon

Go straight to Ang mate and tell him you another customer from scoobynet, they will look after you. Give them a ring on 020 8963 0333 and speak to Angie if you want to get a price before you go down

Price depends on MY. If your's is a earlier classic you'll need cambelt. If it's one of the later classics then belt change is at 60k, so 90k service is oils, coolant, filter, etc, but no cambelt.

Check your chassis number then ring around. If you want more info PM me. I have some info on the above recommendations you might find interesting.
