Good alternatives to PPP for a classic sought
Ok, here's one for you scooby nuts to get your teeth into :-)
To Prodrive or not to Prodrive, that is the question :-) After numerous 'lively' debates with insurance companies (ahem) It would seem that the easiest way to get my performance fix would be to buy a classic and get it modified. I've found two companies that wont charge extra for ecu and exhaust mods etc. The question is: who do I take the car to for the best results? Now, I'm not looking to gain power over all else; it will be used as an everyday car and thus will HAVE to retain a standard car's drivability about town. For the same reason, any mods must also NOT have a detrimental effect on the car's reliability.
I know of Prodrive's PPP pack, which seems well suited to my needs, but I have heard that this is a touch expensive and that similar gains in bhp and torque -without compromise to the cars character and reliability- can be had elsewhere for less money.
Any suggestions?
Best wishes,
