ScoobySport - I can finally announce the team!
Hi Guys
My pain has finally come to an end and I am officially allowed to announce that our core engineering team consists of Jim Adamson, Graham Neale and Graham Moore.
Jim Adamson is ex Chief Technician for Prodrive Race team (also involvement with SWRT), ex Chief Technician for Hyundai World Rally Team. He is also heavily involved with RML having just got back from Le Mans.
Graham Neale is ex Senior Powertrain Engineer for SWRT, and is considered one of the finest drivetrain engineers in the business. He has brought incredible depth of understanding and drive to the R&D process, and is our main engineer on anything to do with drivetrain.
Graham Moore is ex Chief Engineer for SWRT, among a host of other high level engineering positions. Many of you will know of Graham Moore, and his chassis and transmission expertise is considered second to none.
---
You can probably tell why I've been so eager to tell you all now!
What this means is that we have an absolute A Team of engineers working to produce (Truly) the finest performance equipment developed for road imprezas. Their goal and ethos is "True Performance, and WRC technology for the road."
These guys have genuine reputations to think about and will simply not consider working with or on ANYTHING that isn't something to be very proud of.
They will not produce equipment designed to "sell" for the sake of it. Everything they produce will be a true performance advantage and engineered PURELY for that reason.
Jim is excellent at spotting and understanding the wear and tear elements which are more important on the road as we don't all pop into service 3 times a day! So it takes some very clever engineering to use the benefits of WRC technology and make it work for a road / track car.
I hope you are as excited as I am, and look forward to being able to tell you more about the actual equipment and one other element to all of this which is incredibly exciting.
All the best, and thank you for your patience.
Simon

Simon ... congratulations on getting it all up and running finally.
Forgive me if this is a silly question but will ScoobySport still be performing routine maintenance tasks ... i.e. fitting gauges, spoilers, tyres, wheels etc? Or are you concentrating on full development of entire vehicles?
BTTT for you also.

Hi Rob
Not a silly question at all...
The answer is no though. ScoobySport (diferent to the original scoobysport) is a research, development and engineering company rather than a fitting centre.
So we have no current plans to launch a fitting centre or garage services.
There is however more news to follow on the fitting / set-up of the higher end and more advanced equipment, which will follow shortly.
all the best

Simon,
Sounds very interesting indeed, and I wish you and the rest of the team every success with the new venture. Good to hear the new ScoobySport (hmm, maybe we should call in ScoobySport2? a bit like SN2 and SN3? I'm also still not sure using the SS name is such a good plan, simply as many will no doubt assume you'll provide the same services as SS1, regardless of how many times you tell peeps that SS2 isn't like that.) isn't going to be a fitting center / garage type affair. The R&D approach could provide some excellent products the community
