Help - Scoobymania???
Hello all,
I have sent 3 e-mails in the last 8 days to Scoobymania at info@scoobymania.com regarding my interest in purchasing a set of 4-pot AP Racing brakes, but no reply as yet.
problem is that I am from South Africa and I prefer to deal via e-mail rather than the very costly call charges.
Anyone know if they ever reply to mail or what is the problem?? Its a matter of urgency to get brakes, but all my efforts have been to no avail so far.
Any input would be appreciated

Hmm, original mail was sent at 16.19 on Sunday night, we're only slightly behind. :-)
Gerardo, you have mail.
ScoobyTal is correct, just had a major re-organisation in the hope that we can improve what we're doing (or more importantly HOW we're doing it). :-)
The APR kits ought to be good (as long as they're "proper" ones), as we did a lot of the development work with APR in making the kits what they are today.
The thing I will again point out is that we receive in excess of 100 e mails EVERY DAY, most only want free technical advice on a variety of issues, we attempt to answer all of them even if we will never make a sale to that customer.
This slows things down for people who are itching to spend money but it helps those who aren't. We will continue with this policy wherever it is possible but with some degree of prioritsation being applied over time.
Mike.

Err, Funny in what way exactly?
We've been directly involved with AP Racing now with Impreza kits since 1999.
The current AP Racing 6 pot kit (the 5570 Calliper) was a direct result of work we prompted and undertook with AP Racing deveopment.
The new (red caliper) kits for 18" and 19" whels are also as a result of our involvement with AP Racing which is part of the reason why we are listed on their web site as an authorised specialist.

Haha,
That's cool.
I'm not sure how relevant it is to anything at all, or the point of the original thread, or indeed if there's some point you'd like to make?
Stef was working with us on our behalf at the point (which would have been kind of late 1999 onwards) where he was testing various elements of the kits that we had changed while working with Pete Collen, (AP Racing development) as we still do now.
I can say that I have tried alternative systems which claim to be as good, (but were not) which is why we continue to sell and assist in development of road kits and new product lines with APR.

if you visit some of these places you will understand why there are delays answering some of the emails. the phones never stop ringing and there is always someone at the door asking questions.
