What difference did the induction kit make? I went and watched a friend of mine have his re-map done yesterday and the induction kit just had to go. It increased the inlet temperature by around 15 degrees when it was on. As soon as it was removed and replaced by a cotton panel filter the temp dropped and all was well. It just went to show that we think induction kits make a difference and in some cases they do .....they make things worse

interesting point about induction kits... i have one, but am just having a FMIC fitted. so am i right in saying that any potential increase in inlet temp as a result of an induction kit is more than comfortably negated by a FMIC?
also consider that it is possible to isolate/shield the induction kit from unwanted engine heat and feed cold air direct - so having one is perhaps not such a major issue.

hi Si,
i'm having an APS of Mikee. the kit is all complete bar one hose i believe. from what i've heard about APS they are one of the best (certainly for Scoobs), so hopefully i'll be able to run bigger (1.3bar currently), but safe, boost soon.
that'll be it for engine mods, until something like the clutch goes when i'll have a billet flywheel fitted. i'll be along on the 29th (hopefully with car), so i'll see ya then if not before.
