Speaking to them today ti appears enough owners have complained to IM for IM to grant LHG permission to service Subarus.
Suits me fine as its a 500 yard trip !

All it means is they have secured the rights to become a "service only" outlet. Quite a few of the dealers who decided not to take up the tightened franchise "rules" and demands have applied for this, so as not to loose out too much and also to keep some of their previous customer base.
It still means its a trip to another "full" dealer for any warranty work however.
Roll on a takeover from Subaru themselves and end all this misery and confusion............

Has this been sorted out yet? Last time I went to LHG was told by David that any work they carried out was no longer subaru approved i.e. a service would not count as a service from a dealer and invalidate warranty. I've booked mine in for 30K service at Quemby's in Baldock now.
In hindsight probably should have gone to LHG as I've got a full decat so warranty is screwed anyway

If you remember LHG were given a stay of execution that expired in September.
And they were from then in negotiation with IM to get the servicing back from October (law change one good thing to come out of the EU) as they had all the equipment and Subaru trained engineers.
Now the law has changed I presume from Allan B's post LHG have once again been given permission to service Subaru's officially, without affecting your warrenty....
Shark (Dave) maybe you could comfirm or deny please.....
All the best
