As some of you know, Oakley Garage in Bedford ceased being a Subaru dealer recently, I wrote to Subaru and asked why and they have to day replied, according to Subaru the reason a lot of dealers have closed is because of changes in EEc Post Block Regulations, whatever that means, however they have said the new dealership will be announced shortly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was at Oakley the other day for a service Colin. The manager said the new rules were draconian, for example
Subaru insist that all the dealers had 10 demo cars, and to order another batch every 3 months. There was load of other stuff too, they said it wasnt worth their time staying with subaru. He said SAAB and Lotus were making enquiries.
