Question

February this year, I had piston slap fixed under a good will warrenty claim and big end bearings replaced which was partly at my cost. The dealer in question is no longer a Subaru dealer so who should I get to do the next due service? Should I find another main dealer in-case I have reoccuring problems / or the slap returns?? ......or return to the independant I previously used who I was always very happy with.

I'm sure it will be OK now it has been rebuilt, though the choice is do you want to maintain warranty in case it goes again or are you happy to pay less by going to a specialist?

Xtreme, thanks... is there a standard amount of warrenty given on work carried out under warrenty claims?

With the dealer gone, any problems would have to be taken up with Subaru UK or another main dealer..... by saying that I guess I have answered my original question to cover my ****

From what I have read Stan Palmers would be a good choice...... although I live at the other end of the country
