I want to buy a new one, have checked the part number at the dealers and they have said £273 inc vat. but I'm not sure if it the correct one. I have been informed that the housing on an sti is a bigger diameter than on the UK model.

Can anyone help ? Must be in north west or deliver.

Thanks for the reply, I never got round to getting the VIN number and in the meantime I have been contacted by the guys who normally look after my car. They have kindly allowed me to try one off one of their own cars to see if mine is dodgy or not. I'll see what happens and take it from there.
