Hello all, I'm new so no flames please....

Last saturday i arranged to buy a used dbm scooby from a dealer, agreed a price on my car Hyundai coupe (don't start that's why it's going).

However...The rear wheel bearing went pear shaped the other day...blah blah blah...£180 to fix it...ha...not paying for that.

Question is...do i tell the dealer when i pick up the scoob??? or do i deny all knowledge if questioned, and would this affect the 3 month warrenty they've offered?

more info...They're already advertising it for £1500 more than the p/x price.

question 2 ... Does anyone know where I could get a new exhaust and possibly any other bits from, 'off the shelf' in the north i.e leeds/sheffield/manchester/nottingham area?

No I don't like mail order and yes I am impatient, just in case you ask.

An honest reply from a Subaru salesman, wonders will never cease

Eddie, you could also try Jap Innovations in Oldham. Don't have the status of TSL but I'm told their system is OK and fitted to customers cars by the local dealer.

Eddie

As aDealer i would always drive any part ex, when it arrives here at the dealers, and therefore assume full responsability for the trade in. Personally i wouldnt make an issue of this unless directly asked by you sales person.

With regards to Q2. we fit retro parts to customers cars (if out of the warranty period of course!) and partly because they are on our doorstep, and mainly because they always have the stock in we use TSL in Notts www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk
hope this helps ease the mind, and welcome to scooby driving.

P.S.
Is this from a scooby dealer, as depending on the age/mileage of the vehicle they should be giving you a Proven warranty for 12 months (as well as 12months M.O.T. + various other bits and bobs!)
