Would it not be best just to go direct to Blitz themselves. They have a UK website. I'm sure it must be cheaper ordering direct than buying through a supplier - is it not??

I'm just about to buy the Nur spec r system so if anyone knows different then i would be happy to be corrected.

Jonny as Grasshopper is the main dealer who gets all the Blitz products so if anyone, he will be able to sort you out the cheapest.

There is a company in Banzai mag or Jap performance that sells them for £500 for the Blitz nur spec r system including delivery (usually £550 + delivery). Its called Woodstock garage i think

Johnny still sorted me out cheaper than that!

Try giving Peter a call at J-Spec I've just ordered an Apexi from him he was extremely competetive on prices for Apexi, HKS and Blitz, but for me having a Hiper before and not liking the Nur Spec I thought i'd try something different

TBMeech, you should have told me you was going to buy an exhaust. I spoke to Peter before at J Spec and when we were talking about trade prices, i could supply products to him cheaper than what he could get them himself!

He was going to set it up to buy performance products off me! lmao

Money,

But what kind of warranty / backup / advice / knowledge could you offer the average punter?

Personally I've known Peter for a fair few years, he's helped me out a lot in the Subaru tuning game for the last few years that i've owned my STI-V, he's helped me achive good power figures etc.

As far as I am concerned, I don't think that if someone is £20 more expensive than so and so i'd have to go to the other people to save £, at the end of the day if someone promises me an exhaust for the next day and it DOES arrive as stated, has good back up and technical knowledge I'd always go back.

As you are probably aware, it's very difficult to advertise certain products for less that RRP! If you do, you get your ar$e kicked by the manufacturer, who are well within their right to stop supplying you!

I know a certain supplier annoyed a manufacturer when offering a group buy and now they can no longer buy thier products direct!

I'm sure the last thing we want to be limited as to who we can go to for our tuning needs! It only leads to monopolies and paying through the nose!

Serveral suppliers have been mentioned on this thread who I'm sure can do deals as long as you phone them. Problem is with the 'Internet' generation, people only believe what they read on the internet or do things by email, rather do the whole personal interaction thing!

As a side issue:

I have used J-Spec and they have delivered items as and when they say they would!

I am using Impreziv for something else and I know that will arrive on time, as it's being delivered by hand!

I have phoned up other companies who are unable to offer 'deals' or have long lead times! I'm quite impulsive, so I'm glad when companies like J-Spec and Impreziv, do what they say, do it promptly and offer products at very competitive prices!!!

TBMeech, i can give all warranty etc because like i said, i get it cheaper at trade. You cannot set yourself up as a trade customer as you are aware, you have to pay vat etc.

This is NOT my job!!! Im actually an accountant so i know about the VAT issues etc. Its my uncles company that is the trade customer and he is the one that gets it cheap and sells it on with vat. I cant be bothered to go into the vat rules but you will be surprised at how much you can actually but the exhaust for as they are much cheaper than £550!

Ptholt, i have no way disrespected your company. Like i said, you are a good supplier and was good to talk to you. The TRUE reason why the emails stopped is we dont carry stock. So if i order something for you, it wont be there for about 4 days as it takes a couple of days to get to us and then another couple to get to you.

I also spoke to you about the Greddy stuff which i could get you about 30 - 40 % off (if not more on some products). I have spoken to the company and they dont carry much stock either. However, it is stupid that you have to wait 6 weeks for the products! We dont!!!!

Also, my initial discount to you was at around 17.5%. But then when you re claim vat on your purchases, you actually get it more of a discount! We arent going to sell it completely at trade ie what my uncle gets it for, as that will be pointless and we wouldnt be getting not even a £1 out of it! lol.

Also just a side a not seen as we are talking about the Blitz exhaust. They retail at £550 for the system. If you look in Banzai/Jap performance, Woodstock offer a next day delivery for £499 including vat and delivery! I cant remember if i said this but when i rang them about mine, they could do it next day.

One more thing, Sorry i have to say this but why do people get so stressed and have a moan!

When i joined scoobynet (which wasnt that long ago, probably july02), people would ask general questions like what exhaust or i need help with this and people will reply. Now people dont want to help out fellow scooby drivers or guys on the board!

I remember joining and people saying dont worry mate, that supplier is really good but i might be able to get it a bit cheaper through this supplier blah blah. Now i post up i can help a certain individual out and people bit my head off!

TBMeech, you seem to have a grudge against me and im not sure why??!! BR Developments told me they wouldnt map an ecu i bring them (as i was thinking about buying yours) and then you have a go at me there telling me i should check my facts!

Here i post up i can get it cheaper and you start saying can i offer all the warranty, next day delivery etc. Yes i can but it seems like your having a moan.

Im sorry if i have pissed anyone off or if i have slated any suppliers (which i dont think i have). Im not making any profit out of this myself, my uncle might make a couple of quid but not alot. He actually tells me to stop helping people out on here cause if he sells it to a customer that rings up, he sells them for £550 and not what i help people out on here!!!!

When ACE Kensington was closing, i posted up here if anyone wants anything ill grap it and i ended up going in there what looks like a bloody project!!! lmao

Im no saint, just pisses me off when people have a moan when im just trying to help out

Rant over, sorry for the long post!!!

Cant we all just get along

the 6 weeks i quoted was the lead time quoted by the same greddy/trust distributor you were purchasing from, the same distributor that demanded payment up front and anything up to a 6 week lead time.

Hence why i don't order from them either lol

lol at ptholt! its a joke mate.

I was speaking to one of the guys who knows the owner of the Greddy distributer and his brother (if you can follow this! lol) is actually moving to Australia. He is getting paid by a Tuning company a £1000 a day to work there!!! The guy is minted. But he is going to put me in contact with the tuning company so we should be getting discount there. There will first send this stuff over (it wont take 6 weeks though, more like 1 week) but they want to have a permanent supplier here so if they get one, ill let you know mate. Then that should sort your company out with a BIG TRADE discount and you should be happy

If you have an after market exhaust on it already and its been mapped to that, i wouldnt bother when you put the new system on mate as its not really going to change much.

I put my full system on and a few other bits and havent had it mapped once yet! I do need to do it but im waiting till i get a different ecu.

lol! Yeah i agree with you with the link mate. They just told me they wouldnt remap anything unless they installed it in the beginning. They didnt say anything about if i bought it off you (as you bought it originally from them) that they would remap it.

Must of me jumped in the wrong end here then. The way yo uasked about warrantys etc, i thought you was having a go.

I get it so many times in other topics. Most of the customers/scoobynetters i help out are grateful im helping them and any problems, they are sorted. There HAS NOT been one problem i couldnt sort out. But there is that few per cent on the boards who are ******! Not naming names, but some people on here need to grow up!

Glad we all understand each other even if it did take a few posts
