Last service was done in January 2002 at 3.8K (I think - before my purchase).

Obviously nearly 12 months on now, so service due in Jan 2003, (24K or two year service, although I think car was registered in May 2001) and car approaching 8K.

I know it can vary from dealer to dealer immensly but any ideas as to costs?

Tried search but to no avail.

Cheers

Chris

I do Chris

Mine's a Euro on 7 500 mile intervals, I've done 20 000 so far and have had two services, one at 7 500 the other at 15 000. Each cost about 180 quid.

Sorry this doesn't answer your question but I think the 24 000 could be more than the ones I've had. Why not ring around and find out - prices do change from dealer to dealer.

Nigel, where do you have your car serviced, in Essex?

Lavender Hill near me wont be an "official Subaru" dealer soon so looking elsewhere.

Cheers

Chris,

I go to Days in Chelmsford, and they do the car while I wait (I ask for it). They seem a bit cheaper than Wilsons in Romford.

Others on Scoobynet have used Osbournes in Colchester, and seem to speak highly, but I have no experience.

I used to use Day's but got a bit disenchanted and now Use Osbournes which I do rate highly

Used Days to have my Sport (before my current WRX) serviced and although they gave discount on servicing I was not impressed with the level of customer care. You can also forget a courtesy wash/hoover after a service (Service Manager quote "sorry we don't have time"!!!).
Also after the 3rd year body check/service the car came back filthy, waxoyl all over the rear windscreen and plastic padding filler dust covering the whole car - wasn't happy and all Days could do were shrug shoulders and say what did I want.....

..also Quenby's of baldock and Welch's just outside Cambridge - used both - niether gave car a clean or offered courtesy car - but were cheaper than Days and managed to return the car in one piece...

Oh well...that's all you can expect...
