Question

Does anybody know of Scoob dealers giving discount to SIDC members on Prodrive Parts?

I am considering :-

Replica WRC Rear Wing
PD7 - 7 spoke gold 17" Wheels/Toyo Proxes.

Quoted £735 inc VAT (Wing - painted/fitted)
£1175 " " (Wheel & Tyre combo.)

Local Notts. dealer

Any info. would be most appreciated.

Cheers
Chris

Cool

SIDC members get 10% discount from Cheam motors, not sure if ProDrive counts, perhaps you could ring 'em and find out, and then let us all know.

Cheers Guys

I've tried Cheam Motors, but even with the 10% discount, they are more expensive than my local dealer!!! weird huh.

I'll give Intermoto a buzz and let you know.

Akira, let us know what the price of the Prodrive wing is, I'm interested but only if the price is right.

If you do get any goods from Intermoto and don't mind waiting a couple of weeks, give me a shout as I live about 20 minutes away - I shall be visiting my parents in a couple of weeks, and they live down the road from Cheam motors, so I could bring your goods with me.

Tony,

Cheers for the offer of personnal courier service. .

I have been told by 2 different dealers that the Prodrive WRC Rear Wing is £500+VAT. The big difference in prices seems to be in the painting/labour. Trying Intermoto tomorrow.

May end up buying the wing unpainted, hopefully with 10% discount, and then having it sprayed up locally.

I'll keep you posted.

Cheers
Chris

Cool

Got an e-mail back from Intermoto today regarding the Prodrive parts.

They can do the Prodrive WRC rear Wing for £450+VAT (unpainted) £120+VAT for painting. The price includes the 10% discount they kindly offer to SIDC members . This price is £50 cheaper than the other 4 dealers I have tried. Impressed, I was!

Tony Nesta, does the offer still stand regarding collecting of parts from Intermoto and dropping them with me in Leicester on your route to Cheam? If it's OK, could you e-mail me a.s.a.p. stating when is convienient for you. Many Thanks .

Cheers

Chris, slight change of plan as I'm no longer going on the date mentioned.

However, I will be going from Coventry to Epsom on Monday May 1st, would this be acceptable ? I can pick the kit up from Intermoto anytime. Are they painting it for you as well ? When you order it, just tell them I'll pick it up, they know me.

I could attach it to my car for the journey, purely for research purposes you understand ;-) I'll need full directions of course.

Tony,

Thanks for the offer mate. However, I have a 30K Service booked next Friday at my local dealer and have decided to let them do the Wing at the same time.

Not that i'm impatient or anything!

Just debating about getting colour coding of mirrors, sills & handles done at the same time. Oh the stresses of Scooby ownership.

Thanks again for the kind offer.

Cheers
Chris
