Hi MIP

I think you are comparing VAT and +VAT prices.

I spoke to Elite, as we buy our tyres from them and supply them with our wheels. They have no 215/40's in stock and they will be more expensive when their next batch arrives.

We have wheels AND tyres in stock.

Oh, by the way...

MIM are a sister company of Speedline, in the Technomagnesia Group.

They are of the highest quality.

Having just made the decision to upgrade to 17" rims due to new tyres being required, can anybody recommend any decent wheel/tyre suppliers ?

I quite like the wheels scoobysport sell (mim bresica) as I don't want the standard speedline fair that are so common.

I do want to shop around for prices as scoobysports price feels a little too high.

Recommendations for interesting wheels greatly received as well

Thanks

Try some of the mags, they tend to do total packages. Remember to check if the offset is 45ET or higher.

Thumbs up

Seeing as you've asked, we (Scooby Mania) can supply wheels, what general style are you considering, we can do OZ's (Polaris or Super T (Evo) 2's.

Any tyre you want, we can also supply just about any wheel tyre combination you require, (as long as it will fit).

Kosei, Speedline, BK Racing, Rimstock, Team Dynamics, Kahn. Etc.

Mike.

I saw a DBM with the ScoobySport MIM's on at Tesco Romford last weekend. They do look really nice. I'm now saving my pennies.

I just called Elite again.

They don't have the tyres in stock, but can get them in a reasonable time, especially as I can't get there any earlier anyway...

The price they have quoted me all in inc vat is even cheaper than they quoted me before.

892 inc vat fitting balancing etc..

I was very careful to check..

Sorted.

I now have a set of Gold mims with 215/40 17 So2 PPP.

Elite were excellent to deal with.

very proffesional fitting service, quick, clean and I was VERY happy with the price.
