Thumbs up

Getting it done at Falkands in Glenrothes, Scotland.
They've quoted around £300, but this looks likely to be reduced since I've asked for some existing parts to be inspected and refitted (ITG air filter and Iridium plugs).
Bargain I reckon.

I hate living in the south - over-inflated prices for everything from houses to ale to services! Was quoted £450 (all in) from Cheam and Scoobysport could only beat that by approx £20 (and then I'm not sure it would be OK under the warranty, but that's a different thread altogether!!!)

If it weren't for the dreadful weather I'd be off oop Norf like a shot... (although we're really getting the best of the summer down here, aren't we!!! ;-)

Just had a 30K service today, cost £263, sounds cheap reading this thread. All I can say is if you live in Devon go to Ashburton Motor Works, excellent friendly service. I live in Plymouth and was quoted £405 for exactly the same service at a new dealership. How can they justify that?? That's not the way to get new business in my opinion. OK Ahsburton isn't on my doorstep, 20 miles away but they give you a courtesy car.

For a saving of £150 I'd go a lot further than 20 miles...a trip to Devon may be on the cards!!!

Like STI Wanna Subaru (Guy) I went to Robinsons. Very friendly place, even let me have a test drive in the STI whilst I waited
