Angry

Having used those programs linked to by helpful ScoobyNetters yesterday, I have discovered that I have been short changed

Bought my Athlon from a computer fair last year from a company that also has a shop. The processor was sold to me as having a 266Mhz FSB and also bears a sticker saying that too. But after having problems with bios settings and looking up the code printed on the CPU I have discovered that is is actually 200Mhz FSB.

To$$ers

Anyone else been robbed like this ?

sux for you athlon 1200 isnt it? wanna sell it? But as far as price goes u havent been done, the 200fsb ones are rare now, n is actually slightly more expensive than the 266fsb version. Of course the performance will be slightly less, but only if youre using PC2100 ram and a fsb133 mobo.

Thumbs up

Well thats okay then

Only using PC133 ram not DDR. Mobo supports it, but like you say, probably wouldn't make much difference anyway.

Yep its a 1.2Ghz - Make me an offer if you want it

Thinking of going for an AthlonXP
