Anyone got an HP contact number in the UK?
I've got a list of proliant server models I need to find the end of life dates for. I called HP and got put through to an Indian call centre and who didn't have a clue what I was asking for
Has anyone got a UK contact number or even know somewhere on the website that details EOL info as I can't find it!

Cheers for the replies. The call centre in India gave me an email address which I didn't think was going to help but to my surprise they have logged a call and looking up all the serial numbers to find out EOL. I did tell them I can't believe it can be so difficult to get EOL details from them.
I will also have a look at the link above.
Actually just had a call from them saying only one came up with EOL but he does't have accurate info as he is in a break/fix team. I've had to ask him to pass the request to a team who can find the info out as the company who owns the servers need to make a decision on whether to re-use the hardware and saying don't know isn't an answer from HP I can give them.

Ah that link above is the one i've already tried and only gives warranty info. None of that is needed, I just need EOL/EOSL for each proliant model on my list.
Also that phone number above is the one I used to log the call but you end up at an Indian call centre once you answer the many questions on the automated answering service.
Hodgy what do you use to get your info? An account manager/after sales team?
These servers were bought from HP years ago but now they use a 3rd party for IT they don't have anyone at HP to talk to and nor do I.

If you download HP product bulletin it tells you dates of servers that have gone end of life.
It does not however give expected EOL dates for its current range of servers
Do a google search for it.

Hodgy that spreadsheet would be perfect if you can let me have a copy please.
Rich thanks but the expected end of life is needed for all generations including more recent models such as G6 and 7s. I know the G1's on my list are dead and buried but they need to know how much longer they have on the other models before they decide to re-use them or buy new kit.

Most of the G6 and G7 are end of life, Gen8 are the current range (for the obvious DL / ML's), and they are on the V2 range of processor in them.
There are still G7 servers available within the channel as new or as refurb, they are certainly getting expensive as compared to a Gen 8, they will have the remainder of the 3 year warranty, or it can be reset to the day you bought it.

I got a reply from HP today and to my surprise G1's (DL series at least) only go EOSL 30th June this year. All later revisions are still supportable and no EOSL dates exist for them yet! If only that was believable
