Apple or IBM?

All I do is surf the internet and use Office products (Word, Excel) etc. Also use it for CD Burning and possibly for digital photos.

Fed up with Windows, but worried if there isn't any MS Office compatible software on the MAC

Thanks

Jay

Jay,

MS Office is available on the Mac (see: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/officex...p?navindex=s16), and if all you are doing is Office, surfing, burning CDs and photo editing, then a Mac would suit down to the ground.

(Ian can't believe he has just recommended a Mac, *shudder*)

Cheers

Ian

You should be able to get one of new base level iMacs (Flat screen) for that. But you really should try and get a 800 with either a CDRW or a Superdrive. Just check out Apples web page.

And once you've got one of them you'll want an iPod to...

I bought one a while back, and frankly its fantastic for everything you mentioned.

I don't remember writing that above......

I agree with what Rich B said though. Macs are so much easier to use than Windoze machines......
