Default Anybody recommend me a printer?

Sorry, I know it's a boring question but my printer has packed up. I only use it for documents, letters etc nothing fancy. A built in scanner would be very helpful.

Can anybody recommend me a reasonably priced one?

Thanks

Just got a Canon PIXMA MG5350 for £75 - not stupid money on replacement ink, wireless, air print, scanner.... ticks all my boxes including printing photos very well too.

Looked at the £50 options but the extra £25 seemed well worth it and then some for the 5350!

Got MG3150. £22.50, cannon refurbished.

Does wifi printing etc, came with all inks. Not very expensive ink - but if it is, I'll ditch it and get another one

Just purchased an HP Photosmart 5520 All-in-one for £70 and it seems to fit your needs.

Hope you are paying cash and don't require credit!

Thanks guys.

The Canon PIXMA MG5350 is about £90 delivered and the HP Photosmart 5520 about £65. However there is quite a lot of feedback on Amazon about how much ink the HP uses.

I've got a hp wireless all in one printer and it's awesome and really simple to set up for a newbie.
And mine doesn't use ink as others have said, it also goes into standby mode when not in use and fires back up when task has been sent.
I got a cheapo one and for the life in me I couldn't link it up via wirelessly so opted for this hp (not sure on model number but can check if need be ) I paid £99 with free pack of ink from pc world.
Very user friendly

Edit-model is 5520

That's why I chose the Canon, good all round reviews and good ink usage!

On the subject of printers, can you print say shipping labels etc using an iPad with one of these wireless printer jobbies?

Cheers

If you're only using it for documents etc. and don't need photo printing then a laser job might be a better option.

Inkjets seem to be a bit cr*p generally if not in regular use as the ink dries out and blocks the head.
