Free Video Streaming
#1
With certain international competitions on the horizon a group of us at work are investigating how we can arrange full viewing facilites
I would like to to just stream a real video or similair from a server with a TV card in.
We have suitable servers and an old TV card that works just fine with Linux so I've been trying to find something to do the streaming.
ffmpeg does a superb job at streaming to file but in the current release I cant get my real client to make any sense of the streamed verison (ffserver). Been digging about on freshmeat etc but cant seem to find anything.
Would only be for about 5/6 clients all on a LAN so no bandwidth problems.
Anyone implemented any free video streaming ?
