Panny TXL47DT65B or Sammy UE46"7000
Now I know some like me love their Panny's but reading the reviews the Sammy seems just as good with maybe better smart features. Anyone got any experience of either of these TV's?

We were looking at getting either of those two Previously we've always had Panasonic and there wasn't much between them this time, screen quality about the same, but the Samsung has more features. Mr L72 thought the Samsung also had the edge looks wise so in the end we went for it and, so far, have been very pleased.

I've had two samsungs the first packed up Xmas 2011 , with it being Xmas currys said it could be 28 days to be sent away and repaired (kept clicking to try and turn on)...3 days later they phoned to say un repairable .
They delivered us a new one and 6 months later the same thing happened .
Ended up buying a lg 3d one and touch wood its been faultless .
I'm not putting samsungs down at all as my tv's seen to be on constantly in the background up til this September
My missis's parents have a Panasonic and to me it always seems dull on the picture side (could be how they set it up )
Search you tube for the Samsung power faults

Got the UE46D7000.
Very happy with it, though I am not a tv purist. As far as I can tell it has a great picture with very vibrant colours, looks great with lovely bezel around the edge, and good Smart TV features, especially good is that it's wi-fi, I understand not all are.
My only gripe is the slowness of the menus, the TV Guide in particular, though I think it's improved with recent firmware. It also has the ability to record to an external HDD, Sky+ style, though I found this a bit clumsy so don't tend to use it (and as it only has the one active receiver it can't record a different channel to what you are watching).

Which is why i always try and buy from Richer sounds. Cheapest and they offer the 10% premium for 5 years warranty which is pretty decent. John lewis is another but they are generally more expensive than Richer sounds and the warranty premium put together.
