Default get by phone

I'm just over half way thru a 12 month contract with T mobile and I'm bored with my phone plus its not charging so I have to buy extra batteries to keep it running. Its an S3 and the charging issues has put me off Samsung.

I'm tempted to buy an iphone 4s 64 gig as I'm due a new phone in May so don't want to pay over the odds for a phone for such a short time.

Realistically should I suffer my phone Buy the 4s which will do me or buy an iphone 5 as which will have better resale in May ?

think your just unlucky with the charging issues - cant you claim on warranty for it if its 6 month old?

A work mate has a S3 and just came back from holiday, his phone was not charging and battery was overheating. He took it alone to local 02 shop where he bought it and apparently Samgsungs are notorious for firmware updates that fail.

Remedy was he was told to back up numbers, pics etc and they re-flashed( thats what they told him) the phone with the latest firmware and all good now, worth a try no ?.

As said I would not be impressed with a circa £300 phone failing after 6 months.

I have bought a wireless charger and I'm going to give that a try, I tried asking tmobile if they would look at the phone and they told me they can not do anything with my phone as it was supplied by a 3rd party phone seller and not by them. I have no idea on how to get Samsung to fix it so I hope the wireless charging sorts it or I will have to buy another phone.

I also slipped on the contract length its halfway thru a 24 month contract but I did ask tmobile about the charging issue over 5 months ago but its just got worse now.
