"Android crushing Apple and MS"
Interesting article about the increasing domination of Android in the Smartphone and mobile device market.
I'm not sure I'd like to see Android on PCs though.

These things are cyclic though, as much as I love my android Note 2 and tablet etc, another variant/manufacturer/technology will soon come along. As for Android powered pc, they already exist to a degree and when you count the chromebook which is really a glorified tablet, you can get your hands on one now.
These days I think it is time to enjoy the technology instead of trying to write one off over another just out of brand loyalty when the brand are only interested in money.

The cash comes from the advertising, you can't think about Android and not think of how Google make money, selling what you do to advertisers and licensing patents. That enables Google to give Android to any monkey with a computer and that's great.

Of course I do you tit. One of the major reasons for my use of Apple products is the fact that they produce the hardware and OS, it's a huge advantage and the reason why Apple products are consistently the best, year after year after year.
You crack on Shoehorning Android onto whatever hardware is the cheapest or has the biggest numbers.

I take it you dont read the news? Apple had not held the top spot for the last couple of years, or have you just over looked that minor poimt?
Since Steve Jobs departed from this place, Apple have nose dived, they need to rethink (and they should have done this with the iphone 5 but didnt), their strategy, basically they need to do what android does, fob off the older hardware and re invent their OS, its the only way they can move forward.

Now if you want a decent debate, how can Apple go forward as they are not going anywhere at the moment, unfortunately you only take what you like to take out of a conversation and disregard anything that you dont like, Android is better and it is improving, it still has problems but not as much as IOS is having (its dated and Apple need to do something).
So where do apple go now Jack? Do they start on a new OS or do they just get left behind?

Surely with the advent of 4G and the fact that the IP5 wont work in the Uk, Apple is going to lose a massive market share if they dont do something quickly?
If 4G is rolled out properly and everyone wants to join in, the only way is the android route just now.

Beastie, get back in your cage, your confused. The iPhone 5 works great with 4G on EE in the UK. Now, a quick question for you, what is your data allowance? Mine is unlimited and streams Netflix and BBC iPlayer and all kinds of great content without interruption, saves my home network bandwidth, what am I missing out on exactly?
