Internet Pricing
I know this will upset me, but I'm curious to know what people are paying for internet access.
Specifically, I'm curious what you would pay, per month for:
DSL - 6 / 0.8 (5 down and 0.8 up)
DSL - 15 / 10 (15 down and 10 up)
DSL - 25 / 10 (25 down and 10 up)
DSL - 50 / 10 (50 down and 10 up)
This is with having BT as your phone provider, and no bundles with other services.

No bundle:
PlusNet 80/20 Fibre Unlimited £19.99 pm also includes personal web hosting
Sorry - Just realised you haven't listed the above product.

is that + line rental?
seems to be most places quote a price and then star it with another £10-15 line rental. Rather naughty selling in my book when the price goes up 40% in reality, but they all seem to get away with it like the 'unlimited' text's that have a fair usages policy. false advertising if you ask me

Here are the current prices we have to pay here for the services I listed. These are unlimited (up and down), DSL wet loop (using Bell phone line, so same as BT phone line), per month, in Ontario, and including 13% HST (Harmonized Sales Tax, so our equiv of VAT)
DSL - 6 / 0.8 (5 down and 0.8 up) = $45.18 (£28.85)
DSL - 15 / 10 (15 down and 10 up) = $56.49 (£36.07)
DSL - 25 / 10 (25 down and 10 up) = $65.53 (£41.84)
DSL - 50 / 10 (50 down and 10 up) = $96.03 (£61.32)
Think we're getting shafted?

I pay for a decent package so it's actually;
16/1 @ £23.50 (Includes line rental) a month with O2
Actually unlimited with no throttling and static IPs. My speed is limited by my area

Line rental is still with BT and as such (historically) I've always aligned that with the normal landline. You make a good point though as I'm only probably keeping a landline for the purpose of Fibre.
