Amid worries of no new products or upgrades of noteworthy. News comes out that suppliers are admitting less demand for components used in apple products. This has hit the share price hugely with it dropping below $400 dollars since 2011 losing the top spot of the most valuable company in the world.
Also news come out about Apple's position re Samsung that it feels it may ultimately lose the litigation so is pushing for retrial before the USPTO invalidates it patents

Shares started falling on release of the iPhone 5 and have been falling since. Neither the iPad 4 nor the iPad Mini have been able to halt the downward trend. Apple need to release something really innovative other wise it will go the same way as Blackberry, also once upon a time the dominant smartphone in the market.

iOS 7 needs to be (and hopefully will be) a major leap forward for this work out for them.
They need to somehow retain the simplicity that the OS provides for non-techy users but give some of the control/functionality that they are missing from Android to those that do want it. If they can bridge this gap then they will be onto a winner.

and investors have no confidence that apple can sustain that, if they did they would be buying, not selling like they were tickets on the titanic.
Apple succeded because of jobs, apple are gonna fall because of jobs, well at least because of him not being there.
