Xbox live login problem

Had this problem last night with the Xbox Smarglass app on my IPAD, did a google search and it is a Microsoft issue which they are sorting out apparently?

Fookin microsoft!
8 dead consoles and almost 10 years of paying forty quid a year for s**t service and laggy conections! And not even dedicated servers. Makes me wonder why I bother.

In 10 years this is the first time there's been a problem in which people can't log on and it's a worldwide problem/error which they picked up on and working on. Oh and I pay for XBL as well.
Millions of players worldwide and you expect nothing to ever go wrong ever?

Lagging connection is nothing to do with Microsoft, it's down to the game developers. Microsoft's servers are for the player profiles/accounts and marketplace, the games run off developers servers.
In 10 years this is the first time there's been a problem in which people can't log on and it's a worldwide problem/error which they picked up on and working on. Oh and I pay for XBL as well.

If I ever found myself getting wound up I can't log on to xbl I'd need to have a word with myself.
Can't say I've had problems with lag.
