Do I need a download/plugin??

If your using internet explorer, ditch it and install Chrome.

I have the same problem with the consumer preview that I am running as a dual boot, I have installed it several times but everytime I try to view something it thinks that it's not installed. I'm not too bothered as I only use 8 for messing about with as I have 7 installed as well

I wanted one with windows 7 but the missus preferred the colour of the one we have now.

Lol

I need to have a better look tonight, think I need to go to manage add ons and do something with the active X control?

Hi Ian

Install Chrome and Shockwave player(Flash) and you should be able to view any videos on any website

I'm still running W7 and really not looking upgrade to W8

I can view videos on youtube and other sites, it's when people post embedded links to youtube on forums that I cant view them for some reason
