Default Mac book pro memory

Quick question, Can the memory on a 13'' mac book pro be increased/upgraded? If so, where is the best place to source it from?

Thanks.

So it is possible then. Not knowing much about computers myself, that is very helpful. Cheers.

It's so easy on a MacBook Pro to do , easy to change the hard drive too .

All you have to do is unscrew the panel on the bottom

Did mine the other day. SSD drive next I think!

Not to worry you, but I think it'll depend on which shape of MBP it is.

I believe the newer thin (non-DVD drive) ones have the RAM soldered onto the motherboard.

But as long as you choose the right model on the Crucial site you'll be fine.

Yeah I downloaded the model checker program and it said mine is an early 2011 model and it directed me to which one to buy. So hopefully all good.
