Canon IP4200 and Mac problem
It worked fine last night.
IP4200 connected to iMac and printed fine last night now it won't do black. Both blacks are new canon tanks, both show as full in supply status, both have ink in them, print head has been cleaned but on clean test page the PGBK pattern does not show at all and no black prints out, the paper is clean. Any suggestions as what to try next ?
Cheers
Brian.

Hit the ****** with a hammer?
Seriously though, have a look at the printer and see if it has a self test option, it should do. Get it to print a test page itself, see what happens. If you get the same problem then it'll rule out the Mac as being the problem.
How old is this thing? I did a very quick search and there was mention of some waste tank full issue, so if it's a year or more old, or has done a lot of printing, that might be the problem (have a read about it here
