Question

It's a strange request, but I'm looking for a way of reading the service tag in the Dell OptiPlex BIOS from DOS.

We have 100 PC's onsite (all Dell's), which every 6 months or so get re-imaged using Ghost. I can easily run Ghost across the network, but rather than manually running Ghstwalker for every PC, I though of creating a batch file which would use a utility to read the service tag and use that for the workstation name.

Can this be done?
