We had one here at work for a while, I'd rather have a mobile phone and an organiser.

Thumbs up

I've seen them in use in various organisations and everybody who I've spoken to praises the product.

I asked about one in Canada. Was told they had a limited range, like a pager?

I have seen one working.

Personally I am waiting for Nokia to release their next range of phones or 3G. I am on the trialist list for 3G in Edinburgh

Cool

We've been using them in NY for a couple of years and the guys think they're great - they were reffered to as Crackberries for a while as there that addictive......

We've tried them here and found the quality to be less than ideal and overall on the expensive side.

I guess it depends on what you want - if you live by email and travel alot then they're a life line - if not then you'd be better off with a bluetooth GPRS enabled phone and a bluetooth IPAQ - that's what we're currently looking into for London.

The advantage of a 2 piece solution is that you can leave the IPAQ at home when you go want go out and just put a phone in your pocket.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I didn't think the Blackberry was a phone, meaning the majority will be carrying two pieces around as well.

JackClark - you're right - the next release of Blackberry in the US will have an earpiece to use it as a phone, but the current version does not.
