Default Off they trot to the Federal appeal court

Well on the balance of the result so far, apple must be quite upset, no ban on Samsung products also with a possible reduction in damages.

Samsung on the other hand will appeal on several issues, one being the patents used in the litigation now being declared tentatively invalid by the USPTO.

Such a shame they have to whine, just costs more money.

Any sensible person can see they were in the wrong.

They have on many occasions. They also payed their dues in the last Samsung Apple case. Samsung have probably spent all their money on advertising, and look at you sheep falling at Korean feet.

What slave labour? You've been sucked in again, I bet you believe all Apple customers camp outside the store on launch day, Samsung spent a ton on that one.

Yes. The world would be a better place if all companies employed Apple standards.

What, like waiting for someone else to design and make it, then "copy" and sue?

I think its because they are one of a few companies that have the ability to scale to the order requirements of these large corporations. Simple economics dictates that scale equates to cost reduction.

Its not rocket science... or maybe it is to some /shrug

Default I very much doubt it will be $1billion

http://www.slashgear.com/uspto-inval...tent-19261714/

apple's case is literally falling apart at the seams When it gets to the appeals supreme court, apple will be hoping that the financial penalty isn't the other way round. Samsung has still got its wireless patents.

I raise you
