When you say best 3D Blu-ray movies. Do you mean for the actual 3D effect to show off on your TV set?

Second vote for Avatar if it's the 3D effect you are after. Hugo works well too!

Saw Life of Pi at the cinema and that is the best 3D I have ever seen, Blu Ray not here yet of course, but when it is I think it'll be the new benchmark! Way better than The Hobbit by all accounts which pleases me greatly as I think Peter Jackson is a vastly overrated movie maker!

I think its a good film, but I thin k you need to watch the first movie before it otherwise you might not get what the whole plot is about, as its a prequel, and many people didn't realise that.

Join Lovefilm as they have a good selection of 3D BluRays to rent. We've had all sorts from them. Generally speaking kids' animated films are brilliant in 3D!! The likes of Puss In Boots, Shrek, Cars, Smurfs etc etc! Barbarian was a good view, as too was Saw (the final chapter), and Resident Evil:Afterlife.
