Default iTunes 11

How fast! It was no slouch on OSX before but now I'm hearing it's rapid on Windows.

Looks sexy too.

Let us know. Windows users have been moaning about iTunes forever, seems Apple have listened.

I'm loving the new Album art feature, click on an Album and bathe in the epicness.

How can I get my previously working Photostream to work on my PC
The iphone & ipad still work fine but the PC won't work properly.
When clicking on photostream in explorer it crashes.
Obviously some windows crap problem but I have no idea how to fix it

It's ok, still slow to open initially compared to any other app you could mention. Also its screwed up the indexing on 2 of my album views, the album art is wrong for the album selected and it shows track names from another album when you play the other one Don't have any issues in other players, winamp for example.

Bad show Apple, poor coding.

Ignorant, LOL. Just because your PC is obviously in bad condition doesn't make people ignorant. Perhaps you should call a techie.

Moron. PC is new. Apple software is pants, end. Explain to me how all my albums and the art were fine before updating to V11? Like I said poor coding. I removed the 2 offending albums and readded them, no "techy" needed. This cured the issue caused by pisspoor code.

What is this album epicness you speak of? I click an album and get a mini player attached to a larger version of the album art. Is that it or am I missing something? On OS X.

It's the algorithm used to expand your album art into the track list, simple epicness.

What do you expect when you post nonsense about a piece of software that simply has not improved.

It isn't improved, they've just changed how it looks, so just eye candy mostly and broken the functionality which is more important in my book.

I dont use it... The other half has got fed up with updates and backing up of the pod evertime it wants to reinvent itself!

For such a "it just works" app, it just dosent back up stuff easily, its a ballache! Hence she now has just left it at V9 somthing

So stick with your emperors clothes Jack, i'm sure the appelati still have you

on there pedestal

Six updates in Six years, how awful. Automatic back ups either by connecting to iTunes with a cable, being on the same wifi network or having an iCloud account, how awful. Your wife is so lucky having such a technically astute person in the house.

No doubt it works great on PC too, probably too advanced for some to appreciate.

It needs ditching from the Windows platform like Safari has been ditched!

If it is so good it will survive without being on Windows

The updates referred to are for iOS. I have no idea how many times iTunes has been updated on the PC, but I am sure it's not once a month and even if it was that's still less than Windows updates itself.

Typical PC users, never happy.

Oh yes, the cable back up, cant complete because you have paid apps that need to be copied to itunes before you can carry on?

FFs we bought them off itunes, so why cant you copy them back?

She gave up, and i really cannot be arsed to faff around any more!

After the last fiasco with ***** waving from apple, i set up a dedicated

folder on the hard drive with all of my now restored and catalogued music

duplicated just for her. So she could let itunes loose on that.

30 odd gigs in total.... 5 hours of disk thrasing from itunes, and it can

only see about 5 gb... another attempt, and it manages to get to 7gb

ive left her too it lol.

Jack you really ought to try it on a pc before you pass judgement on how wonderful it is!

Mart
