apple cant fXck with the high court
apple behaviour is contempt of court by posting a lying statement. apple must now tell the truth within 48 hours. apple even lied to the judges, that it would take 14 days to update their website.
This is apple's first attempt gets E- for wavering off the point with incorrect quotes of facts
Do better says the Judges, bring it to class on Friday
Samsung / Apple UK judgment
On 9th July 2012 the High Court of Justice of England and Wales ruled that Samsung Electronic (UK) Limited’s Galaxy Tablet Computer, namely the Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9 and Tab 7.7 do not infringe Apple’s registered design No. 0000181607-0001. A copy of the full judgment of the High court is available on the following link http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/...2012/1882.html.
In the ruling, the judge made several important points comparing the designs of the Apple and Samsung products:
"The extreme simplicity of the Apple design is striking. Overall it has undecorated flat surfaces with a plate of glass on the front all the way out to a very thin rim and a blank back. There is a crisp edge around the rim and a combination of curves, both at the corners and the sides. The design looks like an object the informed user would want to pick up and hold. It is an understated, smooth and simple product. It is a cool design."
"The informed user's overall impression of each of the Samsung Galaxy Tablets is the following. From the front they belong to the family which includes the Apple design; but the Samsung products are very thin, almost insubstantial members of that family with unusual details on the back. They do not have the same understated and extreme simplicity which is possessed by the Apple design. They are not as cool."
That Judgment has effect throughout the European Union and was upheld by the Court of Appeal on 18 October 2012. A copy of the Court of Appeal’s judgment is available on the following link www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWCA/Civ/2012/1339.html. There is no injunction in respect of the registered design in force anywhere in Europe.
However, in a case tried in Germany regarding the same patent, the court found that Samsung engaged in unfair competition by copying the iPad design. A U.S. jury also found Samsung guilty of infringing on Apple's design and utility patents, awarding over one billion U.S. dollars in damages to Apple Inc. So while the U.K. court did not find Samsung guilty of infringement, other courts have recognized that in the course of creating its Galaxy tablet, Samsung willfully copied Apple's far more popular iPad.

Another Apple FAIL!
Serves them right

Apple actually attempted to secure the “iFone” name in 2009, and wanted the telecommunications company to cease using the name because it sounded too similar. However, the tables were turned on Apple, and iFone claims they actually trademarked the “iFone” name four years before Apple first released the iPhone.
Because of this, iFone countersued Apple for damages, which could actually amount to a lot of money — possibly up to 40% of Apple’s iPhone sales in Mexico. iFone also demanded that an injunction be placed on the iPhone to prevent it from being sold under its current name in the country, which Apple isn’t likely to change.

Good for you Advertising the iPad mini and Apple in general. Without you the people of Scoobynet would have Apple shoved in their face so much less. Are you buying one?

No matter how you try and spin in Jack, the most galling event that any company has to do is place a legal notice on their home page admitting their wrong to a competitor
Despite apple's high profile campaign, it has all been undone with just this one webpage statement. This will be regurgitated endlessly world wide, mocking apple for its failure in litigation.

It's brilliant, you for one are talking about Apple furthering the reach of the marketing department. Nobody mentions Apple as much as you, thanks for that, keep it up.
I could tell that it was an Android in your screenshot, it couldn't render HTML correctly.

I am quite happy to repeat ad infinitum about apple's woes, as are the rest of 75% of global market Android phones users
Would you like to discuss invalidated patents, or potential perjury of apple lawyers in the California case, or the loss to use the name iphone in Mexico, Motorola V apple frand case?? We can go on and on if you like.

Please do, all publicity is good publicity.
How about you take up a better cause? As you know Android is plagued with Malicious software, it's a situation that as you state affects 75% of all mobile phone users. Maybe you could pick up on stories that will help your fellow users rather than make them think you are a ****.

Did you visit the website? Apple have complied, but been very clever about it. Compare the UK and US sites.
Now I just hope Samsung are just as compliant when it comes to coughing up $1,000,000,000 what do you think, will they do the dirty or pay up like good little copy cats?

Keep it up, there must be a few more people you can send to the Apple website. Do you know what, I've never been to Samsung.com. I guess nobody gave me reason to visit, you're doing great work for Apple.
So will Samsung pay up or pay more Lawyers? I'm voting more lawyers, can't see the Koreans taking their punishment like gentlemen. Apple get extra kudos for doing the right thing.

Don't believe the hype, I've spent far more money on Microsoft products this year than Apple and the products I've bought are doing a great job.
You if anyone are ignorant, ignoring the fact that your posts are a waste of time and you just look like a ****. Maybe if you were literate you could get away with it, cut and pasting is just not interesting.

I bought them for a customer on request. Doorstops now. It's a shame people take recommendations from people like you, there are enough doorstops already.
