Default back on to OSX Lion

I did a clean install on my mac pro after installing 2 new Momentus 750GB hybrid ssd drives in RAID0. But, i installed snow leopard.

i've gotten so used to lion, that SL really seemed slower and less 'slick'.

to lion.

i'll wait a while before putting mountain lion on again i think.

ML 10.8 is okay but boy does it have issues. My MBP is hotter than mars and runs down in about 1 30 mins. Well documented on apple support discussion (my post is in there amongst the many others !! )

Yup 10.8.1 is out, seeming fixes a few things, and 10.8.2 is being seeded to developers, so another update will probably be about a month or so away.

I've still not upgraded, might get round to it at some point.

10.8.1 does nothing for battery or cooling. Roll on 10.8.2

Mine is definitely cooler, 10.8 nearly burnt my left wrist. It's merely warm now.
