I'm on AOL, and have a couple of 'screen names' set up, one being for my daughter of 14.

She has been getting some rather dodgy emails in her inbox the last couple of weeks.I'm sure she has not registered anywhere, but how can I stop these coming in.

I have set up 'parental' type controls on the PC, but it obviously isn't making any difference.

I have now deleted the screen name, but wonder whether the same thing will happen when I setup a new one.

Any help obvioulsy most welcome.

Steve

I think AOL can filter these for you (it's one of their selling points). Search around the help sections or give them a bell.

if the mail is coming from the same source you can use block sender which will bin all mail from that particular sender.

You can set up a list of authorised senders to an AOL account. Bit extreme but works.
