Default computer speakers

Can anyone reccomend a semi-decent set of speakers for the pc. The monitor I bought last year doesnt come with any speakers at all.

Ideally I want to keep the clutter down on my desk so they would need to be slim / discreet and have as few wires as possible.

Anyone got any they would reccomend?

JBL 2.1 Creatures. Just have the two tiny speakers on the desk (one has touch volume control) and the power supply and sub on the floor under the desk. Great sound, proper bass. Used mine for four years now and never miss a beat.

Cheers

Not that I've ever noticed and my office is pretty quiet.

Had these about a year, well build and sound very impressive. Threre is a AC power cord to the sub and 2 cables to the satalite speakers.

Seems like you've got to spend upwards of £40... not the £15 ones I have

Not sure what your budget is or whether your after 2.1, 3.1 or 5.1 surround etc

Ive just bought a set of these, ignore the Logitech price as you can get them a lot cheaper than that.

Plenty of speakers on the Logitech site if your just after a pair.

Hi Ian

Just ordered a set of these. Will run with them as standard for now ,they try to push a Logitech wireless adapter with it, do you use that?

Thanks

Fitz

Hey Mark,

Glad you are happy with them. Sound good don't they?

I missed your previous question, sorry. No, not tried them with a wireless adaptor, but I cannot see any reason why they wouldn't work.

Cheers

Hi Ian

They make a massive improvement from naff all but I wasnt expecting to have such good sound from two small speakers.

If it was a home set up there would be 5 or 7 speakers floating around, on sound and vision stuff I've always (perhaps misguidedly) gone for bigger is better.

These two are perfect. Thanks again.

Yeh Ian, they are superb. The bass from the subwoofer is impressive, watching movies and listening to music through the Z906 speaker system is really great, suprised the speakers didn't come with dust covers though.
