Default Any IIS Experts?

Trying to run two sites off same database with a dll calling pages. However, on new site click on action button for new site and it gets old pages served.

There's SSL on there, just to b things up but each domain has a separate ssl cert

New pages have no reference to old pages, so no reason to change as far as we can see

Anyone an IIS & SSL expert that could take a look & let me know wtf is going on? Tearing my hair out!

I assume each domain has a separate IP as you cant do host header redirection on ssl?

Been a long time since I did any IIS.....

But check what kind of "Application protection" (IIRC) you have on. Remember that you can have IIS share resources rather than isolating them from each other so it might be that?

Really, just guessing here.

Just thinking about this some more, have you separated the two sites on different application pools? If the DLL is the same, perhaps its sharing and using which ever one is loaded first.

Does the code for the dll just relative reference for the results page or is it hard coded for the full site name somewhere in there?

We hope not as that would be really silly...

But I don't know and devs can't recall - in theory it should not do but I don't know how lazy programmer was.

Well, restart iis and/or the machine with the sites offline. Bring the new site only online and see if you get an error page returned after the form submit. I guess that'll be the only way to see for sure that something is going on in the code that shouldnt be.
