Be interesting to see if they get to keep the name Ipad, or how much it costs them after they fraudulently aquired the rights to use IPAD from Proview, the trademark owner.
If they do, will it be anywhere near as good as http://www.asus.com/Mobile/PadFone/ ?

Going to be an expensive month if they release a new AppleTV too.
I have the iPad 1 and the original AppleTV so will be updating both.
The wife and I are still on 3GS's so we'll be having the new phone whenever it comes out this year, oh and I'm waiting for the new iMac to be released as I'm itching to buy a 27"
Well, I work hard, put in long hours and don't drink or smoke and we have young kids so don't go out much....that's my justification!!!

Can't wait for the 3, my 2 gets about 10-18 hours use a day so the 3 will have its work cut out, I love my 2 and it's def one of the best gadgets I own ( and I have a few)
Might be off to the states again in April so I 'may' wait and save myself a few quid, then again............

Will you really save that much though buying in the US? I looked into it when a mate went over late last year, there really wasn't that much in it (I would have justified not waiting for the 3 if I could have saved £100 lol)

IPad2 is good, does it really need an upgrade already?
Of course it'll sell in droves but I'm not sold, especially as it'll be more expensive.
I'm waiting for the iPad4, the one I can surf on but also makes the perfect cup of tea. ;-)

Some were reporting a $50 increase over existing iPad2 models, there was some screenshot on macrumors the other day about it.
We have a pool at our work as to what will be announced. iPad3 obviously, but what specs, plus what else.
iPad 3
* Retina display
* Quad Core processor (A5X or A6)
* LTE (4G)
* iOS 5.1
* Siri
* Upgraded rear camera, ala iPhone 4S
Other:
* Updated AppleTV (1080p? Faster processor, updated iOS)
* Apple TV (as in an actual TV, with ATV hardware included)
* Variable quality media streaming based on connection speed

A lot of people who buy Apple products, and I class myself in this group, are intelligent individuals.
I'm not the type of person to simply waste money on a 'gadget', yes I love the iPad, could I do as much as I do on the iPad on another tablet? Absolutely.
Would my technophobe wife and 5 and 6 year old boys be able to operate them as easily, NO.
I've looked at other tablets and they're all the same to be honest, but I chose the iPad as it was the only tablet available at the time, it does what it says on the tin, and does it in a very simple and straightforward manner.
Yes it's expensive in comparison to other tablets but you could say that for practically everything else in life, I drive an Audi A4, okay it's a fairly standard 1.9 TDI but there were cheaper options available to me (Skoda for example) but I liked the build quality of the Audi and so I chose to buy it.
We've just moved into a brand new 4 bed detached house, it's a nice big house and probably has more room than we need to be honest, there were other houses available that were cheaper but we chose the one we're now living in.
For some reason Apple haters always like to bring up the fact a Samsung will do it cheaper, and they're absolutely correct, but these same people probably buy top end cars or top end televisions...etc etc!!!
I've had my iPad 1 for 2 years now, I paid £429 for it and I'm selling it for £200, not bad after 2 years ownership.
I like to skip a generation, still own the 3GS and will upgrade to the new iPhone when it's released later this year, I'll still get some money back from my 3GS which I've had for 3 years.

I think it's potentially a tempting toy but I'm going to need convincing that I can properly connect stuff to it / transfer files easily (the attraction of retina display is being able to use it for portable photo viewing - the 'connectors' and other dross that apple sell appear on their own site reviews to be very hit and miss).

Now there is iCloud, photo transfer is much easier from another iOS device or from iTunes on a PC or Mac, or iPhoto on a Mac, which is how I do it.
ITunes is still pants though. The camera connection kit that allows you to connect a camera or memory card to the iPad is indeed poor. I'm on my third in three weeks, but touch wood, this one seems to work fine.

I'm sure it will be the next iPad, I won't be upgrading mine as Im happy with my iPad 2, no doubt there will be a improved screen and quad core processor.
New iPhone on the other hand I am looking forward to.
