Simple web site creation SW?
My son is after setting up his own web site (he's 7 .... ) so, anything to oblige, I'll let him set it up so he can access it anywhere in the house. The problem is getting some SW so that he can actually design/publish it locally. Any ideas for a simple to use, probably drag-n-drop, package he can play with? He's fairly good at using the pooter, and at figuring out how things work.
I could download several and have a play, but I'd rather pick the brains of someone who "may" have already done some work. I have had a look in the past (several years ago) and there wasn't anything that I remember as being simple to use.
Cheers
Dave

assuming you have windows, you can install IIS on it to perform the web server function
then use Microsoft Publisher to design the actual website (and it has a publish to web function in it too - that you would just point at your IIS server)

out of curiousity, the £5 .co.uk domain for 2years, is this if you use Weebly Website Creation or does it stand if you build independently?

have a play with wix.com
free online
I dont usually plug free online or paid online come to that but should be good for a kid to play about with
Godaddy.com for domains but leave that for now
not sure if you can point a domain to all freebie sites

i use 123-reg.co.uk for my domains. they have been spot on and really easy to work with. someone else has suggested www.godaddy.com. i have my own domain with them and just point the weebly site at the domain. seems to work fine.
