Default HP memory stick not being recognised ??

Guys got an HP 4 GB memory stick here ( small blue body with white ends ) the content on it contained a few mp3 tracks I was given from a guy who had put them on via his own pc where the stick worked fine, unfortunatly none off the computers within the house will recognise this memory stick, possibly faulty stick or is there some m/sticks that require a driver installed first ??

What operating system you on?

If its w7 go start menu then right click on computer, then select manage.

When the window loads go to disk management, you should see the memory stick there which you should be able to format and it will show up again
