Can anyone recommend a good sniper based game for the 360? Is Sniper Ghost Warrior any good? Ta

 

MW2, MW3. Seems some people can't use any other gun's....

 

i never got off the first part of ghost warrior didnt really like it, prob played it for half hour now its gathering dust under cod and fifa lol

does sniper elite still not work on the 360? that was a cracking sniper game.

 

Just started SGW for the 360..not bad so far....

COD sniper is not bad, far better than BF sniper

no still dont work , but they are doing a second sniper elite v2 for the xbox 360 later this year

 

COD is just people quick scoping and the maps arent big enough to properly snipe. At least in BF you have bullet drop which makes it somewhat more realistic.

 

And pistols that drop you at over a mile, and barrets that cause grazes at point blank ranges lol

Which game are you referring to now? Assuming COD/MW as there is no barrett in BF3.

 

Mw3 is **** for sniping, can beat a head shot 800yards away

 

Sbiper Elite 2 is due out sometime this year. The first one was class on the old PS2/X-Box so this one is supposed to be better from what i've read on it in the magazines. Ghost Warrior isn't really bad it's just not up the level most of the other shooters are. If you wan't sniping, sniping and some more sniping it's worth a look. I'm sure it'll be available at a knock down price amazon/play by now.
For an out and out shooter it's MW or COD. If you're like me and enjoy picking people off from a mile away all thats out there at the minute is Ghost Warrior till Sniper Elite 2 comes out!

 

Yeah I play COD, I just fancied a `proper` sniper based game where you have missions to complete (like the film Sniper with Tom Berenger)

 

I've been on the look out for a cheap copy of SGW, Play have the x-box version for £10.99 but want £39.99 for the PS3 version !!

Even on e-bay they still go for good money.

 

got sgw on pc, pretty good, bit short story though.

As far as MW3 and cod, doe's anyone still try to play that without using aimbots and cheats?

 

Sniper Ghost Warrior is good, I liked it and I am a real EX army badged sniper so it gets my vote, good online too maps are massive...

Youtube it for gameplay see if you like the looks of it loads of vids on youtube. like I say I like it, I even have it on my Alienware laptop as well as my xbox too..

Yea online is good lots of folk play it, bit stressfull some times when you can figure out where the heck the shot came from lol, but the head shot bullet tracker slow mo cam is smart watch the shot hit the head well cool...

Good advice I always do this if buying an older game 2nd hand off e-bay for peanuts.

 

An old pc game series I loved for sniping was Delta Force. This was before the days of xbox etc but the maps were fantastic with proper bullet drop over range and the barrett being the weapon of choice. Go out on the edges of the map up into the hills and pick people off running about the buildings in the middle of the map. Spent so much time on line with mates on this game series far more than all my 360 and ps3 online play put together!
